A very dear friend of mine is facing challenges in life. I am trying out all my ways to support and encourage him to build up the confidence. Until this morning Oswald Chamber’s reading strikes me: “If you think you are helping lost people with your sympathy and understanding, you are a traitor to Jesus Christ. You must have a right-standing relationship with Him yourself, and pour your life out in helping others in His way – not in a human way that ignores God.” What a marvelous profound words that awakening my understanding of the cross!
Dear God, I know You are the mighty and powerful God. I lift up myself to you, continue to guide me and teach me in your severance way. Amen!
