WOW... i have been looking for holiday for quite some time... Finally we are here in Cambodia. Our flight landed at Phnom Penh and straight away we took a Taxi to Siem Reap at $80. The journey took about 4 hours, the road was bumpy and cant really get a good rest in the car. Our "agent" Ms Rosalyn treated us very well, planned everything value for money. We checked in to the four star executive suite in siem reap...

After refreshing ourselves, we get a "tuk tuk" to pub street, it only cost $2 per trip from hotel. Pub Steet is quiet during day time. After surveying from row to row, we decided to stop at this Khmer Family Restaurant, located at pub street 240 for our lunch. This was the first time I experience Khmer food. The cooking was not bad, I like it very much especially the basil leaf with pork.
We were all very full, and there is nothing much to see in the hot afternoon. The best thing to do is to jump into the pool. Therefore we decided to go back to the hotel to enjoy the facilities. Again under our ms agent- Rosalyn arrangement, we went to Soria Moria for dinner. It was wonderful night, everything in the restaurant is $1 on every Wednesday. In total we only spent $13 for 4 person.
Pub street is a happening place to hang out in Siem reap in the evening. We went in a nice ambiance restaurant for a drink - The Piano.
Tired... tired... tired.... Woke up early in the morning for the sunrise capture.
We booked a “Tuk Tuk” early at the price of $25 for touring Angkor Wat and sunrise pick up.5am, the tok tok was there to take us to Angkor Wat. Zzzzzzzz
Awaiting for the sunrise..... too bad the photo didnt turn up nice =(
Finally the sun is rising up.... After the sunrise, the tuk tuk drive - Sei (meaning Four in Cantonese) was good enough to send us back to hotel for the complimentary buffet breakfast. Yummy~~
We were filled with energy and depart to Angkor Wat again.....
Cute Cambodian girls, they are not afraid of the crowd, good in posting for the tourist to take photos.
Ta Prohm was used as a location in the film Tomb Raider.
I spotted monks inside this building.
Linger at this spot for some time to capture the reflection of the Wat. Too bad Angkor Wat was under reconstruction at that time.
Another Wat.....
Nice and special dinner (a must try BBQ Khemer Style), this restaurant is only 10 minutes walking disstance from our hotel.
Stupa of HM King Suramarit and HM Queen Kossomak - Stupa of the father and mother of former King Sihanouk, grandfather and grandmother to King Sihamoni.
Stupa of Princess Kantha Bopha - The memorial sanctuary of the beloved daughter of the former King Sihanouk. Princess Kantha Bopha passed in 1952 at the age of four, succumbing to leukemia. The stupa was built in 1960.
Caption from Silver Pagoda :) and i like this photo very much..
Model of Angkor Wat
Local Snack... Dare to eat?
Local beer, highly recommended and it is a must try beer in Cambodia..
Local praying ceremony.. capture for fun as they use the coconut to hold the praying joystick :) something special for me.
Restaurant Nature and Sea situated at the lively 278 street. The ambiance of the restaurant is superb, it is perched on a rooftop with the views over Wat Langka. The cozy environment ended us to spend longer time chatting and enjoying the Angkor Beer, at the end we had 3 big bottles of beer.
Food that we ordered.
The Tamarind, is a famed restaurant, there is 3 levels and each one has its own interest and decor.
